TROPICAL BONSAI

Sometimes refered to as "indoor" bonsai, tropical plants generally do not tolerate temperatures below 45° F. Tropical bonsais most are adaptable to year-round indoor growth, but prefer to be outside for the summer. Our Tropical Bonsai include: Brazilian Rain Tree, Schefflera, Bougainvillea, Star of David, and Ficus.

Temperate Bonsai are somewhat winter hardy but are not tolerant of extreme cold, however, they must go through a period of dormancy in the winter. Some Temperate Bonsai that we carry include: Boxwood, Azaleas, Juniper, Japanese Maple, Pine.
