9:30-12:30		 Gardens for the Senses
Join Irene Brady Barber and approach Garden Designing with a focus on our five senses. Naturally, while we garden and while we enjoy our gardens, we receive sensory stimulation. With that said, there are ways to strategically fulfill the purpose of stimulating our senses. We'll discuss why this is important and how we can do it using certain plants in certain configurations.

Irene Brady Barber will cover the real meaning of Low-Maintenance from the perspective of sustainability. This can be done through minimizing reliance on water, fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, pruning and choosing the right plant for the right place. So yes, we'll go over plant selection.

This weekend kicks of a week long exploration of organic approaches to gardening and living. Things wrap up on April 30 Arbor Day.

Join us and learn the ins and outs of creating a fabulous container garden. You can bring your own pot from home, or purchase one here when you arrive. We’ll have a wide selection of pots, annuals, and perennials to choose from.
